Growing Up

Yea it really just hit me that I'm going to be a senior next year, and it made me think of my transition from a boy into a man. (damn that sounds cliche) I dont know how i jus realized this but based on the choices i made in the past I realized i've been more of a follower than a leader. I guess it was because I didnt have a lot of friends and I followed other people so that I could fit it. Now Im in a position where I'm ready to forge my own path. I guess this stems from my new F*CK everyone else mentality that i recently adopted (i dont usually curse on the blog because i have family that might read from time to time but w.e.) and i dont mean f*uck EVERYONE but jus all the posers out there, and all the people with no (whats the word I'm looking for...) SUBSTANCE. People who just buy expensive clothing and that somehow puts them above other people. Those are the people who are getting cutt from my circle. I like people who can think for themselves. People who geuinely are able to form their own ideas/identitys, those are the kind of people who I should surround myself with. I dont think I'm better than anyone but Im definitly using my potential a lot better than a lot of my friends. I work everyday to be a better person, and most of my friends dont try that hard. I finally know what kind of person that I wanna be, and i guess its some kind of priviledge to be able to know that at such an early age but Ima just vibe out with it while I listen to the the Drake mixtape--->  pcce.
