So The Games highly anticipated new album is coming out soon, Okay.... Slightly anticipate album is right around the corner and his first single has arrived. I dont know how to feel about it yet. It sounds like some shyt from '07. I mean todays music industry is so different from when 50cent and Theame ruled the rap game. I said to myself if The Game wants to be relevant he cant stay with Dr. Dre as his only producer. I mean Dre is great and all but that nigga is ANDCIENT. Whether it be Kanye West's sampling of 70's R&B or T.I.'s intricate use of percussion instruments, every artist got something different about their style that when their song comes on you automatically know who it is. Damn... its been way too long since I last posted. So much has changed including: my college list, my taste in music and clothing, and most recently my age. Yeah I'm finally 18 and it feels so real. September is finally over and i'm relieved i'm up to pace with my classes. The only class that I struggle in is Chemistry. Its not even that bad of a struggle but I just hate the work in that class. I hate Science and I always choke hen it comes to quizzes and test. All my other classes are cake but i'm reading so much this year. Last year we had reading assignments but I would barely read them. This year ive been reading every assignment given to me and it sucks. To be honest the hard work is paying off because i'm doing good on all my quizzes because I actually do the work they give us. My favorite class by far is Photography. We come in and take pictures, or make work prints, and leave. Its not as easy as it seems but im getting better at it. The weeks are starting to go by fast now, which makes me so happy. Tonight is Soph Hop at my school and I must admit my mom hooked me up with some pretty dope gear. I mean I told her what to get but she actually got it, i love her like a fat kid love cake. I'm tired of typing at the moment and I have chores to do before I leave the house. Enjoy.

First week of School

-Okay so Hunter is a lazy guy, so he never put the pics up from the last party. Any who, last week was the first week of school and I must say it was pretty good. The first day of school was chill, got to see all my friends and scope out the freshman girls, i'm joking.
-The next two days we went our over night class retreat. We went to some hostel in Fairmont. We spent the day downtown, having a scavenger hunt and bowling. After that we went back to the hostel and chilled. The next day we left early because it was raining so much.
-That weekend, aka yesterday, a new student , Kenny Johnson, had a party because his mom was away. It turned out to be a pretty chill party. Here are some pics im in from the past week, enjoy.

The past week ive been hanging with all my school friends and its been so much fun. I havent seen any of them all summer and seeing them all taller and sexier brings a smile to my face. Judging by my title you can assume that i'm home from my Va vacation. Overall the vacation was peaceful and relaxing besides a certain someone. My brother and his girl friend went on this trip but the bad thing about that was, she brought her fucking kids. Her daughter is about 3 and so adorable. Since my last post things have been pretty much the same but things just seem alot better. I got a husky paycheck and just been chillin'. As my partner in crime Meek Millz would say..."Money, Car, Clothes, and Hoes, yea I get a lot of that." Haha I recently begun my SAT prep classes. They're so boring and I have to wake up at 10AM, but this kid is a genius. He's 19 and is about to graduate from Upenn. Friday I leave for VA for the week and im pretty excited for some reason. I feel I deserve this vacation in a way because of how much I worked during the school year and these past two months with this job. School is almost here and i'm dam near ready for it. My summer check list is almost complete and I think I should be achieving my main goal soon : ). Once i accomplish it, ill be ready for a fun/stressful junior year. Enjoy

OhEmGee, i didn't realize how long its been since i've posted. Alot of things have happened since my last post. I'm so lazy but ill Summarize it.

I worked a 40 hour week which was exhausting. Got a new back tire for my bike which is so sexy. Went to the Cudi/Roth Concert which was Epic. Biked so much,my calves are getting bigger. Saw two movies in one night ; ).Went to the chit bbq with my bike and got caught in the rain(haha).Got several pick ups, offer me if your interested. These past few days have been excellent. Working 8 hour shifts and just chilling. Tuesday Sam came over and we biked to chestnut hill to chill for a bit and people watched, aka stalking. The next morning we woke up at 9 to goto Kelly drive to ride but ended up riding all the way to Main Street. We found a cool Cafe that had the best smoothies. Im so relieved Summer 09' is getting a lot better. I recently just joined a SAT program and I also just started working at Kmart, which means money = ],lolzzz. I'm pretty excited to started this SAT program for two reasons, do good on my SAT's and also get a little head start on school. I just got my schedule for next year and i'm pretty pumped for school but i'm also pretty upset, because its going to be a tough year. I just wanna be, I just wanna be successful....haha no but seriously i do. I need to focus this year and make my momma proud.

Its been about a week and a day since ive last posted. There were always time when i could have and should have blogged but didnt. In a week alot of things have happened to me some for the better and some not so good.

I went to see Bruno and regret with all my might. I went to see it with my friend and his girlfriend. Pretty mad because his gf was supposed to bring a friend but didn't, so I watched it with my PC friends to avoid cock blocking, i'm never a cock block. On a Monday morning my grandfather died at age 93. To be honest i was quite upset that he passed but happy that hes finally able to get the rest he deserves. Raised a wonderful daughter and who raised in even better children. haha The Ball/Vaughn Legacy will live on forever no doubt! R.I.P Pop-Pop best grandfather anyone could wish for.

Me and Shane headed downtown for about 2hrs to hang at Abakus, just needed to get out the house. The i caught a regional to Willow Grove to have dinner with some old Middle School friends. Thursday I got my permit <3333. To be honest that was the easiest test ive ever took. Like im mad I got one question wrong and it was the easiest one, haha. That day I also went downtown to meet up Shane for the Art show in Ubiq, haha NH. It was kinda lame but it had some good work and cool people. I headed to Abakus to unexpectedly see Rick and his sexy hair, i was mad he got blue lobsters for 100. We talked about the hood, my old hood Mt.Airy and his old hood South Philly. He said he had to fight all the time and never once got beat up, lololol, i knew that nigga was lying but i let him believe i thought he convinced me he was a tuff guy. Hes moving back to Philly soon so hell be at the shop a lot more. After that i went to "Something Sullivan", were they had the 'after party' for the Art Show. Good ass food for sure haha.

Today was a pretty good day, a day I like to call "Making Moves". Summer 09' has been pretty lame but all of a sudden its been going a lot better. Since my last post a few good things have happened. I finally got my bike, MJ died : ( thats not good, and my birthday. I almost have a job and today I got a call from "Fill A Bagel" asking me to work there at the end of the summer.

Today i headed downtown to meet up with Dave, from ISS, to pick up some Fire Reds, good lookin man. When I got home I took my bike out for a ride up to Mt. Airy, said whats up to my cousin, then headed to Chestnut Hill. I don't see the hype behind Chestnut Hill, its just a avenue of stores, where old people hang out. I'm not going to lie, it was really relaxing listening to Gone Fishin' while riding my bike up Germantown Avenue.

Celebrities die all the time because they are people just like we are right? But in this case its different. The king of pop is gone. Michael Jackson is dead! Honestly it hasnt completely set in yet. I had to find out from a twitter post through by bull Kenny G. This is gonna be talked about for weeks so every should get ready. I wasnt even born when Michael was in his prime, but his musik (his amazing music) molded my views of good music and has greatly affected my life. I remember when I was a youngbol and my mom would play Thriller and it would creep the hell out of me but I loved it nonetheless. Remember the Free Willy soundtrack? Enough said. Yet this Michael life had been plagued with controversy and scandals. It has gone so far from music and people have actually expressed their joy at his death because of what his personal life had entailed. A Weeks Review

My first week of summer vacation was a complete waste. A lot of my friends were still in school and I'm still jobless. This whole week it basically rained but on Wednesday i finally got out to skate. On that same night my friend Zach called me up asking if i was doing anything that night, which i wasn't because summer 09 so far is lame. But as i was saying, Zach called me up and asked if i wanted to go to his South st. house to spend the night. I couldnt refuse the offer especially because his parents weren't going to be there either, my friends Jeff and Sam also went to Zach's. We skated downtown the next morning.

Thursday night nothing happened but Friday night I went to the Jazz festival with Shane. I must admit, there were many hoes with STD's but many "Nig-gahs" with knives too, I hate using that word but they deserve it. Always have to ruin shit man, cant have any type of events in Philly with out people fighting or cops having to kick teenagers out of something. That night wasn't a total failure, I saw a lot of people I haven't seen in a while, good to know that they were doing alright. Saturday it rained...again.
On June 21st, Go Skate Day/ Fathers day, it was a bit of a roller coaster haha. I went downtown at 8am and the ground was soaked and it was raining. So I caught a train home and basically wasted 8 dollars with in an hour. When i got home i went to sleep for 4 hours. My grand pop went to the hospital for a stomach virus, hes doing fine now, and celebrated fathers day with my dad. Today was also Branford's Grad party, these 2 girls were tearing up the dance floor hahahah.

To end this week off on a good note, iv'e become friends with the most obnoxious, worst softball pitcher, horn dog ever, Gabrielle "Garzz" haha. She isn't obnoxious and shes pretty beastly on the mound but is a complete horn dog, she needs help.

After the Los Angeles Lakers won the 2009 NBA Championships, the people of LA went wild. Riots broke out around the Staples Center and store were being looted, including the shoe store "The Holy Grail". The store is a consignment shop, so the victims of this crime are those who sold their shoes in the store. This sucks for the owners of the store because they have to pay back all the money to those co-signers and regain the trust of people so they feel comfortable enough to sale in their store again. There isn't anything wrong with goons, because i am one, but this type goonish behavior is unacceptable. If you want to rob something, rob a police car or go around jumping prostitutes, you know fun shit, but robbing an innocent store is messed up. These people weren't even sneaker heads, because sneaker heads wouldn't do something like this. Hopefully the store will get back up from this knock down and stay strong. Hopefully they receive donations or something to help out.

So far this summer hasn't been anything to special, just chilling and working, things i've done all year. This weekend though was pretty chill [aka a succes]. Saw alot of friends at AbakusXAwardtour event including Max <3333. I can finally say it, Summer 09' is here. Finally this school year is over and i'm happy. Although this year has been stressful, its been very short. I still remember the first day of school like it was yesterday. But anyway, yesterday to celebrate my first day of summer I went to Five Guys. People are right, the burgers there are the best. Its somewhat unhealthy...but its worth the chance of having a heart attack haha. Since its summer, its time for my favorite things:
1. Getting my skateboard and cruising where ever. This gives me the freedom to do things you wouldn't believe. Running form the cops downtown and basically everywhere. 3. Bing able to make some money. I'm growing up, and the economy is ass, so my parents are just handing over money to me anymore. Its time i work for what i want.

Today I finished 2 out of my 5 exams and now I only have 3 left!, idk if you people reading can add. Im so relaxed because tomorrow I have a day off because of my fortunate exam scheduling. Tonight i'm just trying to imagine what it will be like when there is no more running to the bus in the morning without my shoes on yet or waking up at 6 in the morning. Although I am going to be a caddy this summer, and I'm still going to be waking up that early, I'm just going to imagine still what it feels like not to wake up so early. While I relax on this lovely night I will be a witness of Kobe putting his nuts on Dwights head, [no homo] i'm referring to Kobe dunking on Dwight.But anyway, a while back I made a post about how I didn't have any determination in my life and how impossible it was for me to save money. Recently I've been saving up for a fixed gear bike, aka a fixie, and I'm more than half way there. It hasn't been easy but by starving myself, saving up my lunch money, and doing other little things to save up money, I'm actually close to achieving my goal. I'm pretty proud of myself because I've never been able to save over 100 dollars before but since I'm capable of doing this now, I know I'm maturing. But here's an epic edit of fixed gear video...

Yea it really just hit me that I'm going to be a senior next year, and it made me think of my transition from a boy into a man. (damn that sounds cliche) I dont know how i jus realized this but based on the choices i made in the past I realized i've been more of a follower than a leader. I guess it was because I didnt have a lot of friends and I followed other people so that I could fit it. Now Im in a position where I'm ready to forge my own path. I guess this stems from my new F*CK everyone else mentality that i recently adopted (i dont usually curse on the blog because i have family that might read from time to time but w.e.) and i dont mean f*uck EVERYONE but jus all the posers out there, and all the people with no (whats the word I'm looking for...) SUBSTANCE. People who just buy expensive clothing and that somehow puts them above other people. Those are the people who are getting cutt from my circle. I like people who can think for themselves. People who geuinely are able to form their own ideas/identitys, those are the kind of people who I should surround myself with. I dont think I'm better than anyone but Im definitly using my potential a lot better than a lot of my friends. I work everyday to be a better person, and most of my friends dont try that hard. I finally know what kind of person that I wanna be, and i guess its some kind of priviledge to be able to know that at such an early age but Ima just vibe out with it while I listen to the the Drake mixtape---> pcce.

They battle for money and represent the West Coast, the Fresh coast as they refer to themselves, right. The Youtube account name is Drect, but when you find the page look under West Coast and no other regions, they all suck. My favorite rapper is Dumbfoundead. This man can make a hot verse while sleeping. These rappers have sparked my interest for rap again, because we all know hip hop is dead. Girl allegedly uses gun to force sister to play

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Police said an 11-year-old girl threatened her 7-year-old sister with a gun to force the younger child to play with her on Monday at her grandmother's residence. Police said the girl also pointed the .38-caliber pistol at her grandmother. The child surrendered the gun after the grandmother made several demands for it.

Its 9 am on a Saturday morning and I'm up blogging, Welcome to the Good Life, haha. Its been hard to write daily because of how busy and tired I am from school. Also because my life isn't that exciting everyday, so I have nothing to write about. Today i felt as if i needed to write because its a pretty chill morning, feels like a Sunday in a way.

Ok so last weekend i said "This was the best weekend I had in a long time" or something like that. I take that statement back. This weekend has been the best for me so far. Friday was possibly my picture perfect school day. I had an English essay but had no classes basically. It was like 70 degrees and I brought out the Un-heaven gates for the first time. That night I went to Megan's Sweet 16, it was epic. It took me about an hour to get to my friend's house even though he lived 20 minutes away, ahha Brandon is the man. After i shotied' that long couch at Ethans to sleep on, I was knocked out with in 20 minutes.
The next morning Shane had his swimming lesson, to get certified as a lifeguard, so me and Niko tagged along because we had nothing better to do.
While he was at his 7 hour long lesson we explored the city of Philadelphia. Went from Abakus to Ubiq to Rittenhouse Square Park. Today was even nicer than yesterday, my body didn't recognize the temperature haha.We walked about 5 miles today and now im pretty beat (no homo). Hopefully tomorrow there will be some more chillin' action going on, hopefully involving some girls, haha.

24 year old Asher Roth is a up and rising rapper who's music could be heard all over the United States. His most recent song, I Love College, is arguably one of today's most popular song. I honestly wouldn't consider Asher's music being one of the best of today but his songs talk about things I can easily understand. No i'm not in college but I understand when he talks about parties and other things of that nature. Asher was born and raised in PA, Morrisville Pa that is.(Letsss goo Morrisville) I never met Asher, nor will i ever probably, but i'm pretty sure this man is a cool dude. He rapped for the love of it and now hes getting paid to do something he loves, doesn't get any better than that. You can see Asher on MTV all the time now and his song "I Love College". Not only is this man a sick rapper but now he's designing clothes for UNDRCRWN. Not gonna lie, I like the shirts and will hopefully pick up one of the tees.

Happy Easter everyone. I thought I'd start out this post with something involving Easter because I didn't go to church nor have I been to church in about 10 years : (. I'm more Quaker than Christian because I have MFW, where we sit in a room for 40 minutes in complete silence, every week and have stepped in a church probably 10 times in my entire life. So me saying
HappyEaster to everyone is basically apologizing to God for never going to church : (.
But anyway this weekend was probably the best weekend I had in a while.Friday I went over my mans Jeffs, he sponsered by Hanes, house. Got some stress relived and ate a shitload! I had to sleep on those beds in the attic, which sucked, but atleast i didnt get the bed with the bug.
The next day it rained : (, but that didnt stop me and Shane from going downtown : ). We hit up the spot, Abakus, for a mintue to see what they had on sale, 40% all winter gear. Good shit. Shane picked up a jacket but i couldnt find anything that rocked my boat(no homo). After talking to Ky and Phu we basically were convinced that we needed to check out EXIT, new skateshop that opened about a month ago at 2nd & Spring Garden, because we never been there. The store is pretty empty but the potenital for the store is through the roof. While we were in the area we also checked out Made to Order. The store was ok, didnt have a wide variety of stuff but it was cool.
Later that night we hopped on that regional to Jenkintown to goto Casey's, Happy Birthday, surprise party. I thought it was a success, shout out to Rachi poo and Anita ahah, they planed it. After the party I went to Ethans and basically went to sleep as soon as I got there. I was exhausted from the two days.
Today I slept all day. Basically this weekend was a success!

Good Friday, also called Holy Friday, Great Friday or Black Friday, is a religious holiday observed primarily by adherents to Christianity commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Golgotha. <---------Got all that from Wikipedia haha.
But Good Friday is a day to honor Jesus basically but some people took it as a day to chill at home. My black ass had to go to school but it wasn't a problem at all. I had 3 classes, 2 free periods, and photography class.

My french teacher was absent today, ily Illeabeth, and more than 50 percent of the kids in my math class were absent too. So I feel asleep in both of those classes and really only had one class all day, English [ : ( ]. Luckily that was my first class, so my day was a breeze. Tennis practice was the best all week, I mean this practice sucked too but Bickford wasn't as much of a dick as he usually is so it went by a lot faster.

Once I got home the "Good Friday" got even better...

Theotis Beasley is an up and rising skateboarding star. Since summer, ever since about 10 people in one day told me i resembled this man, I had to youtube him. From seeing how good he was it led onto the Google search engine. Checking his page out on The Skateboard Mag, i've noticed hes pretty much a boss in the skateboarding world. Hes not that popular but his sponsors say it all. Hes sponsored by Baker, if you know Baker you know they're all about making the guap', lol slangg. Many Voices, One Community Day + 4609

Many Voices Day is a day when we have group discussions focusing on the subject of race and diversity. The whole point of the exercise is for people to open up and all them to say things they normally wouldnt ask or say. It was'nt a pass to call Black people Nigga's or any other racial slurs lol, but a day to ask questions that you might have been curious about.

I ran one of the groups today, along with Niko, Mike Wash, and Jabril, and we diccsued racial jokes that our often used by comedians and the everyday person. The ironic thing about this was that im probably use more racist jokes then anyone in me school. Im not actually racist but most of my jokes involve some race. But anyway today we basically watched Dave Chapelle, man I miss him [ : ( ], and Family Guy and asked why do you think that was racist and why? What gives him the right to say that? Basicaly we came to a conclusion:
Dave Chapelle is too funny not to laugh at his jokes, so that gives him the right, haha.
